Construction Records Keeper – Plano or Ft. Worth Texas

The Construction Records Keeper will report to the Construction Services Director and assist the Project Management team. The requirements and expectations include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • 5+ Years’ Experience using TxDOT SiteManager
  • Experience with TxDOT LCPtracker, EDMS, and EPRS
  • Understanding on Plan Quantity Items vs Field Measured Items
  • Understanding of Material on Hand
  • Understanding of TxDOT specifications
  • Understanding of Construction Materials and Testing
  • Understanding and Ability to run Xite reports and clear material deficiencies
  • Ability to log, track and maintain project issues lists, NCR lists, Submittal logs, Change Order logs, RFI logs
  • Ability to organize, file, and prepare contract records
  • Ability to work on and maintain project records for multiple work authorizations
  • Skills necessary to maintain project records thru closeout
  • Ability to develop and maintain files structures
  • Ability to self-manage workload and activities
  • Proactive approach to project activities and action items
  • Willingness to work in an office setting
  • Willingness to commute to field office locations within the greater North Texas area
  • Willingness to visit project specific sites / field offices to audit hard copy records and attend project meetings
  • Ability to draft formal letters
  • Ability and willingness to attend meetings, take notes, and produce thorough official meeting minutes
  • Willingness to work overtime, if required
  • Willingness and ability to work with multiple supervisors and multiple personality traits
