Together with their families, Lamb-Star employees worked together to supply and pack 75 backpacks--complete with school supplies for the year--for the students of Boyd Elementary School. Around 400 students attend this school. These backpacks will go to a group of students selected based upon need.
Congratulations to several Lamb-Star employees on their 10 year anniversaries! These employees were among the first to work for Lamb-Star and played an integral part in growing Lamb-Star into what it is today.
Lamb-Star’s Sarah Mildred Long Bridge (SML) project was featured on the cover of Roads & Bridges Magazine! The SML Bridge is one of 3 bridges crossing the Piscataqua River, connecting New Hampshire to Maine.
Lamb-Star staff had a blast with friends and family during our annual company picnic celebrated at Six Flags Over Texas!
The MaineDOT graciously sponsored a bridge segment signing event today at nearby Albacore Park & Submarine Museum. Kids of all ages, from 8 to 80+ years old came and signed the inside of segment V5-7U, the seventh segment in the up-station pier 5 cantilever of the vehicle bridge. This signing event was an enormous success that truly exceeded all expectations.
In March 2013, Lamb-Star was notified by our partner, CH2MHill, of our team’s award by Collin County for engineering and land surveying services. These services are related to a section of the Collin County Outer Loop from the Dallas North Tollway to east of Preston Road.
In March 2013, Lamb-Star was notified by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) North Region that our Survey Department had been selected for a two year Evergreen Survey Contract. We look forward to continuing our working relationship with the TxDOT Districts in the North Region.
