Responsibilities(Field)
- Operate standard field equipment including total station, digital level, and GPS (network and base operated)
- Record and maintain daily field records of work
- Communicate effectively with Field Crews, Field Coordinator, Survey Technicians, PMs, and other team members
- Accountable and responsible for maintaining safety protocols in a field environment
- Participate in weekly safety meetings
- Provide input and feedback on processes and procedures related to field operations
Responsibilities(OFFICE)
- Operate standard office equipment.
- Review and evaluate field data daily.
- Process field data daily to Lamb-Star standards.
- Perform property research, prepare deed sketches, property descriptions, and plats/drawings.
- Prepare land survey deliverables for clients.
- Coordinate and effectively partner with PMs and PLSs.
- Communicate effectively with Field Crews, Field Coordinators, Survey Technicians, PMs, and other team members.
- Accountable and responsible for maintaining safety protocols in an office environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Be willing to travel. Some projects will keep you out of town for up to 3-weeks at a time (field only).
- Have a good driving record for insurance purposes.
- Have a valid driver’s license. Must be able to drive company vehicles.
- Be willing and able to work in a team environment. LSE typically utilizes a 2-man crew.
- CDOT survey experience a plus, but not mandatory.
- Knowledge and experience in the PLSS system.
- Be able to pass a drug screen.
- Leica Software experience a plus.
- Carlson Survey, Microstation, and/or Autodesk Software.
- LiDAR experience a plus
