Responsibilities(Field)

  • Operate standard field equipment including total station, digital level, and GPS (network and base operated)
  • Record and maintain daily field records of work
  • Communicate effectively with Field Crews, Field Coordinator, Survey Technicians, PMs, and other team members
  • Accountable and responsible for maintaining safety protocols in a field environment
  • Participate in weekly safety meetings
  • Provide input and feedback on processes and procedures related to field operations

Responsibilities(OFFICE)

  • Operate standard office equipment.
  • Review and evaluate field data daily.
  • Process field data daily to Lamb-Star standards.
  • Perform property research, prepare deed sketches, property descriptions, and plats/drawings.
  • Prepare land survey deliverables for clients.
  • Coordinate and effectively partner with PMs and PLSs.
  • Communicate effectively with Field Crews, Field Coordinators, Survey Technicians, PMs, and other team members.
  • Accountable and responsible for maintaining safety protocols in an office environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Be willing to travel. Some projects will keep you out of town for up to 3-weeks at a time (field only).
  • Have a good driving record for insurance purposes.
  • Have a valid driver’s license. Must be able to drive company vehicles.
  • Be willing and able to work in a team environment. LSE typically utilizes a 2-man crew.
  • CDOT survey experience a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge and experience in the PLSS system.
  • Be able to pass a drug screen.
  • Leica Software experience a plus.
  • Carlson Survey, Microstation, and/or Autodesk Software.
  • LiDAR experience a plus
